LONZA FEEDERS

FEEDERS

CCH ® Auto Feed • Efficient & dependable operation • Low maintenance • Adjustable feed rate • Capable of high chlorination rates • Patented adjustable spike technology provides ideal tablet utilization • Employs unique “Wave Process” for optimal chlorination • Creates and maintains balanced, cleaner, clearer water with dramatically reduced chloramine odors • Rugged, simple design for pools & spas 500 – 50,000 gallons • Easy to operate (optional 1–1/2" venturi available for below grade filtration or ORP) • Tablet Diameter 2-5/8" (order separately) S/O

CCH ® Endurance System • 3-in-1 product that chlorinates consistently, increases calcium to protect plaster and increases alkalinity to stabilize pH • Adds no cyanuric acid to your pool for less wasteful drainage • Dissolves slowly to give long lasting action • Tablets work with ORP sensors • Highly concentrated, to reduce shipping and handling costs • Will not cause reduction of ORP • More concentrated than liquid bleach • Class 2 oxidizer • Longer shelf life when compared to liquid bleach • Adds less total dissolved solids (TDS) than liquid bleach • Tablet Diameter 2.7" (order separately) S/O

12% LIQUID CHLORINE

CHLORINE GENERATORS

CCH FEEDERS

TRICHLOR

Solid form of chlorine. Off-gassing and noxious fumes. Pressurized feeder requires care to refill.

No containment needed. Solid form of chlorine.

SAFETY

Dual containment required.

Minimal safety concerns.

40-lb bags of salt. Very large quantities required during start-up. To reach 3,000 ppm in a 200,000 gallon pool, it would take 125 40-lb bags of salt.

A 50-lb pail of calcium hypochlorite tablets is equal to a 55-gallon drum of liquid chlorine weighing over 500 lb

Large polyethyline holding tanks can be difficult to fill. 55-gallon drums are hard to maneuver.

HANDLING

Various size pails.

pH of 13 requires large amounts of acid to balance water (2 to 3 times as much acid addition as CCH tabs). Chlorine strength can degrade rapidly. Concentrated (120,000 ppm) hypochlorite solution is very corrosive to equipment.

pH of 3 requires large additions of sodium carbonate to balance water. Destroys alkalinity. Raises stabilizer levels. Not recommended for indoor use. Chlorine strength degrades slowly. Very corrosive to equipment.

Must maintain - 3,000-9,000 ppm salt concentration in the pool; salt is converted to chlorine as it passes through the cells.

pH of 10 means easier water balance. Helps maintain alkalinity. Chlorine strength degrades slowly.

CHEMISTRY

Feed pumps need constant repair and tubing leaks regularly. Gas locking of pump is not uncommon.

Minimal maintenance. Required cleaning 1 to 2 times per year.

Must replace costly cells every two to four years. High energy cost to operate.

MAINTENANCE

Minimal maintenance.
