TRI-POD™ SAFETY COUPLER Tri-Pod prevents the escape of NH3 at the filling riser area in the event of an acciden- tal pullaway of the nurse tank. EMERGENCY SHUTOFF VALVES Type N550 Emergency Shutoff Valves (ESVs) designed for in-line installations, usually near a bulkhead. The valves provide a means of shutting off gas in the event of a hose rupture or piping break at the transfer area to avoid a large scale loss of LP-Gas or NH3. The valves can be manually opened and closed at the installed loca- tion or closed remotely by either cable or air. A remote operating actuator is also available.
