These models offer the ability to send up to 50% of their capacity through two branch ducts to adjacent rooms. Slender fit feature now offered on all models decreases space required above the ceiling increasing application opportunities. Four-way airflow, concealed flush mount design and the ability to operate in high ceiling rooms makes these systems ideal for commercial applications such as offices, conference rooms, restaurants, night clubs and bars in retrofit and new construction. Long maximum combined piping lengths of 165 to 230 feet with 60 to 98 feet of height, depending on model, allow the outdoor unit to be remotely located up to 7 stories away and far from indoor unit. The ceiling cassettes are also used in new construction condominiums and homes taking advantage of their branch duct capability to feed adjacent rooms. These heat pumps provide up to 30% additional available heat when compared to conventional models.

Ductless Technology for Energy Effic ency Fujitsu’s wall mounted mini-splits feature no ductwork, therefore they forego energy losses typically associated with central forced-air systems. Duct losses in a central air system can easily account for more than 30% of energy consumption.
