We like that the photographer played with a gel light to get the red effect – this is a technically advanced choice that resulted in a dramatic look. The lighting and exposure are good. We like the placement of the fencing sword and the lower angle the photo was taken from. It all seems very intentional and is a unique way to photograph someone in the sport. This is an excellent example of studio photography done well.
