This is a great candid. It can be difficult to take good dance photos. The photographer captured a brief moment in time that still conveys movement; you can tell the dancer’s hair is still in motion. The spotlight shining down on the two main subjects is a nice touch and her leg even creates a bold leading line. The vivid colors are striking and dramatic.
