This sharp, stop-action photo captured right before the moment the swimmer hits the water. You can see his reflection in the water, and the stop-motion is so good you can even see the water droplets coming off his body. It clearly took a lot of skill to get this image – you can tell from the light that the photographer used an off-camera flash. The angle was probably carefully planned, too, as the diving board and the bleachers create leading lines. We also love how vertical this image is!
