CARtoons Magazine Issue #45 2023
To all our Loyal Readers. We hope you enjoyed our latest issue featuring the legendary Chip Foose and Chris Jacobs. It was always on our bucket-list to work with Chip on an issue of CARtoons. After we got in contact with Chip, his response was “What took you so long?” We let Chip know that he is not an easy person to get in contact with, but we finally did and the amazing result speaks for itself. We would like to thank Chip, his son Brock and of course Chris Jacobs for working with us during their extremely busy schedules. Hope they have enjoyed this issue as much as all of you readers out there. Expect a themeless issue for #46 and wait until you see the cover created by Ed Tilrock. You are going to love it! Expect many more great stories from our top Artists and new future surprise guests. We are just getting started as 2023 continues. Unfortunately we don’t have new updates on a big project we are working on that will allow us to share with all of you. We are super excited about this project and we will let you know once we get the green light. Stay tuned. With tons of love from the entire CARtoons Team!!! Sincerely; Marc Methot - CEO of CARtoons Magazine Inc. Just ordered two editions of CARtoons magazines. I'm excited. Just wanted to know if you guys provide some sort of magazine protectors or do you at least have some type of bubble wrap protection in the envelopes when shipping? I just don't want to have my mags damaged in any way. Saw you guys in an episode of Iron Resurrection and was drawn to your mags. Planning on getting every back issue if I like what I see with these two issues. Thanks Guys. R. Pimentel Orders from our website are always very well packaged so they arrive safe and sound. We do have “Collector Protection” you can add to your order for only $3 more which will get your full insurance on your order.

Thank Just want to start by saying that CARtoons is probably the #1 reason I became a graphic artist, thanks for that! Also, back in the '80s, you guys released an issue that featured Christine, and narrated by Mad Max? I think? I seem to remember it being titled 'Christein', as though written with an Aussie accent. Now this may be a weed flashback, but CARtoons was one of the only publications I ever read, and up until an unfortunate accident, I had every issue from May 1978 to mid 90s. I would love that issue, if it actually exists! Thanks! Jeff Thank you for sharing your memories. We recall that story created by Shawn Kerri. Not sure what issue it was in, but if you head to Facebook and search “CARtoons Magazine for the Fans”. They can help for sure. I am beyond stoked! I went and pulled out some of my classics just to read some Krass & Bernie because I'm so stoked!! Looking forward to receiving my package! And I'll just place an order next week for #27 so I can have all the issues up to date. Thank you. And I'm very happy I can support this amazing feet someone pulled off bringing back the best magazine to ever be printed... EVER!!!! #CarTOONsLivesOn Motorola Z
I'm curious how much more would it cost to do the mag in full color? How about just the My ARTtoons? I see the adverts are in color would it really cost extra to do those pages in full color? J. Mead
The cost to have all content in full color would be way too high resulting in an expensive subscription. My ARTtoons in full color is a great idea, so we started that in our last issue. Thank you for the advice and hope you like your request!
We love them classic CARtoons as well. We hope we are creating new positive memories with every new issue released. We definitely love your hashtag!
Thank you for the kind words and for your suggestion. As we are on a budget, as our budget grows, so will many new great products hit our website store. Always check back to see what is new. Marc, First of all, thank you for bringing back my all time favorite magazine! I subscribed back in the '80's until Cartoons went away (still have all my magazines)! I currently subscribe and have for a couple years now. I had an idea for you... (because "I" would love it!). Have you thought of putting together a yearly calendar? Not sure if it is worth your time (effort and money), but thought I would share the idea. And thanks again for taking the risk of bringing the mag back. I want it to pay off for you! Loving it still at age 59, T. Shilanski
Hello again, Figured I'd let you guys know I've been reading your mag for many many years. I used to find them in various stores. Now I have my son reading them. I haven't seem them for quite some time so I subscribed. I know they're put out every couple months and I would never toss them as junk mail. Just a heads up. Thanks, again keep up the good work. Keeping my eyes peeled for the arrival of the recent issue. S. Tuttle We enjoy hearing that the young generation is reading CARtoons as they are the future for the automotive industry. If we inspire even a few, then we know we have done our job.
