They have supported everything we have done from day one,” says Allen-Bey. “Genesee County has over 369,000 formerly incarcerated people and we are all impacted by the barriers they face. Nation Outside is a

movement to show the world that we can all move forward together and that we belong.” Incarceration knows no race, age, sex or religion – it impacts us all.
