The red in the foreground really pops against that blue. The crowd is in focus – especially the students in the front. The out-of-focus flag in the foreground creates depth of field, while the bent flagpole draws your eye to the student in the center. The many flags flying in the background create repetition and the excellent exposure adds drama.
